Looking for Spring

The snow melted this weekend, temperatures rose, and today was a sweater day! We’re tired of snow and cold in these parts, and we have not seen the kind of snowfalls just to the north of us.

My cousin from Kentucky called today and said Lexington had 20″ from this last storm.

But we’re still ready for spring. It doesn’t take much to encourage me.

One crocus, hyacinth buds, sedum creeping in among the dead leaves in my flower beds.

Hurray for spring!

I am thankful for seasons and living in place where the seasons are significantly different. The changes remind me of God’s plan in creating this world.
