I am the LORD, the God of all mankind. Is anything too hard for me?
Jeremiah 32:27 (NIV)
What a promise! My God can do anything!
Claim this promise when you feel desperate for the health or safety of loved ones. When you feel helpless and alone, take comfort in the LORD God who asks Jeremiah, “Is anything too hard for me?” Jeremiah’s faith in God is evident in the previous verses:
Oh, Lord God, you made the skies and the earth with your very great power. There is nothing too hard for you to do.” Jeremiah 32:17
Tromping through the woods at TallGrass Camp in Kansas, leaves crunched, sunlight filtered through the trees, wind shook fragile leaves clinging to branches and stems.
I am thankful I can claim God’s promise: when life overwhelms me and things look impossible, El Shaddai can do the impossible.
OOPS! Yesterday I gave credit to the wrong people for the song lyrics I quotes. The correct artist for “One Thing Remains” is Kristian Stanfill. I apologize for the mistake!
I’m writing every day in October about prayer, specifically prayers that honor and give glory to God. Click here to begin with Day 1. You can click on the cards above to print them, or click here to get the documents containing all the cards in this series.
